1. Specific Gravity
The specific gravity of Urban-Metal is greater than that of IC boards because the plastic portion of the boards disappear through heat treatment. Moreover, transport cost will be greatly reduced due to this reduction in volume.
2. Particle Separation through Urban-Metal
Metals that were supported by the plastic and fiberglass sheets will now easily separate after the plastic and fiberglass disappear. This now independent particulate is what we call Urban-Metal.
As independent material, it is easily separated either by hand, or mechanical means. Your waste material is now in a much easier state to be recycled.
3. Separated Urban-Metal
Precious, or rare metals, are now collected in power form, typically 5mm in diameter, or less. This leads to a much greater concentration of rare metal.
4. Concentrated Urban-Metal
We can now recognize that this concentrated Urban-Metal will have a uniform content of precious or rare metals, and a value analysis of the material can then be easily determined.
5. Price Determination
It typically takes 6 weeks until the final determination of the metal value is determined, including density analysis. Wouldn’t you agree that it is a burden to your business to have to wait a minimum of 6 weeks to make contact with a buyer, determine a price, and arrive at a final analysis? Through the process of Urban-Metal, a quick analysis of the material can now be made.
